This is a picture of our Lions campsite this summer at Hidden Valley. It shows the gate that the guys worked on and shows how neatly eveything was setup.

Sunday, July 2 through Saturday, July 8Summer camp at Hidden Valley (Lions campsite) The Troop has paid for summer camp at $170 for 8 boys! We can still subsidize the cost each has paid (or owes the Troop account) with a Troop car wash or other fundraiser or two, prior to camp. Summer camp is very important to help the boys mature as young men & advance in Scouts!

The adult coverage schedule & list is in the works; Dave will distribute it at the Court-of-Honor on this Monday, June 26. Please let us know and help your boys out!

Check out these Pre-summer Camp Meeting Notes ...odds & ends questions & answers.

The boys started their summer camp program plan by selecting these merit badges and older scout activities, as follows:

In addition, some of the boys picked these 'older scout activities':
Billy- scuba program.
Justin- scuba program.

Physical Forms/Medical Exams for summer camp
The older boys, Billy, Joel, and Justin and anyone who has not attended summer camp before... need medical/physical forms completed (They expire after 3 years.)... check with adult leaders on this or simply download a form using the link to the left side of this page and have your kid get a physical (class 1, 2, and 3). Class 1 form is the medical history with parents' signature, and Class 3 form is required of all boys participating in high adventure activities... like scuba and 50 milers, and other demanding activities... so we recommend the doctor completing (his/her signature required!) a Class 3 for everyone (boys and adults under & over 40), plus parents complete (and sign!) the class 1 medical history form as soon as possible... to BE PREPARED!
